Questions
Straight answers about whole-home water
The things people ask before they book, answered here instead of at a kitchen table.
Do I really not talk to a salesperson?
Really. No kitchen-table pitch, no "let me call my manager." You see every price on this page. A licensed plumber comes once, to install it, and he's not on commission.
Which package do I need?
Whole Home Filtration takes chlorine and chloramine out of every tap. If you see white crust on faucets or shower glass, your water is hard and Filtration + Softening is the better fit. Total Protection uses Navien's salt-free WEC600 and adds a smart leak shut-off on your main line. Your free Home Report recommends one.
What else do you install?
Water filtration and softening today, with leak protection in Total Protection. We also install instant hot water (tankless or heat pump heaters with recirculation) and whole-house repiping for homes built with polybutylene. Instant hot water starts at $3,995 installed and a whole-house repipe at $6,995; every price is on the prices page.
Do I need leak protection?
It comes with Total Protection. If you travel, own a second home or are away for the summer, a smart valve on your main line can spot a burst hose or running toilet and shut the water off before it floods the house.
Which brands do you install?
Navien for Total Protection, GE Profile for Filtration + Softening, and Phyn for leak shut-off. Navien's WEC600 is certified to NSF/ANSI 42, 61 and 372. Every system is installed by a licensed Florida plumber.
What is Whole Home Care?
Your first year is included. After that it's $24 a month and you can cancel any time. We deliver and fit your filters, service the system once a year, and keep your guarantee active. A filter that never gets changed is just an expensive pipe.
What if I sell my house?
The system stays and becomes a selling point. Your loan can be paid off at closing, and Care transfers to the new owner.
How long does the install take?
One morning, usually 3 to 5 hours. Water is off for about an hour. The plumber pulls the permit and sets up the app before he leaves.
Where do you install?
Sarasota and Manatee counties, Florida, today. We open new areas as licensed local plumbers sign on; each area page says whether we install there yet.
Where does your water data come from?
From each utility's own testing as published in the EWG Tap Water Database, with the years and source shown next to every figure. Our Florida Tap Water Report explains the method.
Is the water report really free?
Yes. Type your address and read it on screen. We only ask for your email or phone if you want to save it or book.
Do you make health claims about water?
No. We describe water by what's measured in it, against EWG's health guidelines and federal limits, with sources. For health questions, talk to your doctor.
Are you an insurance agent?
No. We don't promise coverage, approval or lower premiums. If you want to know whether your insurer treats a leak shut-off valve or new pipes differently, ask your insurer.
